Shahnawaz,
A few questions...
1. Are you speaking about the folio on the page or the indication in the menu bar of Acrobat? (see screenshot below)
2. Are the pages produced by XPP?
I want to change the page indication in the menu bar of Acrobat (at the top of my screenshot)
OK I understand.
But I do not know a way to control the page indication in the menu bar.
Sorry...
Hopefully somebody might know
Ok thanx Bart for the quick response
Hi Shahnawaz,
I think that what you want to adjust within the PDF are referred to as 'page labels'.
I believe I had a similar requirement some time ago and at that time posted a solution to the User Group. I'll paste it in below in case it may of use to you.
cheers,

Subject = PDFs - adjusting page number displayed in Reader status bar
Thanks Paul for sending me the details but I am not able to call XPPcompo.pm in my division. So I am not able to run Xyperl program. Is there any other way to handle it,
well ... you could try manually inserting a :pdfs xymacro manually into a page to confirm it gives you what you want in the PDF (see "PDF Support in XPP" manual for more details)
And if it does give the required result then work out how to get those :pdfs xymacros into your pages - XyPerl would seem a good option though.
Not sure what you mean by not being able to call XPPcompo.pm ?
Also, you will need to use the -pdfmark option in order to use the :pdfs/:pdfe macros.
I got an email where you said: "Actually I have the XPPcompo.pm file but not able to call in my division. It is giving me error." (although I don't see that message posted here in this thread on the community page).
You should be able to use XyPerl and XPPcompo.pm in any division.
What was the error you were getting?
What version of XPP are you running? On what platform?

Thanks Paul. As per your advised now I am able to generate the page label by manually inserting :pdfs xymacro. Now I am trying to get these :pdfs xymacros through XyPerl. Will let you know incase of any concern.
I also noticed that :pdfs;GEN macro is not supported in "Direct to PDF" as we are generating the PDFs using "Direct toPDF" option. Please advise is there anyway to achieve it using "Direct to PDF" option.
I don't believe that currently there is a way to achieve this using "Direct to PDF" (divpdf).
I took a look at the PDFlib documentation (the third-party package we use to implement "Direct to PDF") and it appears to have support for specifying "page labels". But we have not implemented any "hooks" to those PDFlib features in XPP.
I suggest that you got to the SDL XPP Ideas community page and enter an "idea" asking for the ability to set "page labels" with "Direct to PDF". Using SDL Ideas is the way that product requests are handled now (rather than opening a case/ticket with support), as it allows other users to comment on and vote on such requests.
