Sdlplugin installer - Studio versions grayed out

Question

I have developed a plugin for Studio 2017. The sdlplugin file is signed by SDL and when I install it on my computer, I can select Studio 2015 and 2017. 
 
 A user tried to install it on his machine, but now the Studio versions (exactly the same builds that I have on my machine) are grayed out. Another user had no problems at all and could install it without any problem. 
 
 Does someone have a clue what may be the root cause of this? Is there are log somewhere that shows the root cause?

Yes... but we have fixed and will issue a CU3 later today I hope, and this will fix it too. So you could save yourselves the work of updating and publishing a new plugin.

CU3 was just released so once users take this update the problem should be gone.

Hi guys, 
 
We made a change in the way the plugin installer is handling maxversion attributes in the .sdplugin files. This fix didn’t handle the situation when the maxversion was not present in the .sdlplugin file. We've fixed this already and will issue an update shortly via another CU.
