I've looked at the current API and it seems there is no support for updating the metadata after a project is created. If this is true, will this be in the product road map?
It isn't currently possible to update attribute values for existing projects, either via the API or in the ManTra UI. This is something we plan to implement; most likely in the second half of 2019.
Is there any update on the prospect of this functionality? The absence of this capability precludes us from using either the ManTra UI or API as our primary interface.
Development of this feature hasn't moved forward, unfortunately, since my previous response last year.
May I ask for more details on your use case(s) where this capability is needed? What type of information is being captured in the custom attributes? At what point(s) in the workflow do you need to update this? For what percentage of projects does this apply?
The project option / workflow that is implemented for us requires a Purchase Order Number to proceed. This value is not provided until the quote for the project is reviewed and approved. This applies to all projects that flow through our product.
