Building a new connector for WorldServer and need access to an installation

Hi all,

I'm new to the community so I apologise in advance for my ignorance in writing these simple questions.

We wish to build a Machine Translation connector for WorldServer.

What is the best way to access WorldServer for development?

Can we request a development copy from SDL to install on our own servers or is there a hosted instance we can access for development?
