Accept Tracking changes using api

Is there any way to accept tracking changes in sdlxliff files returned from edit package? Or alternatively, is there any way to turn off tracking changes on the package?

I'm also interested in this. I tried to to it directly in the XML strucutre of the SDLXLIFF files, but the file got corrupt. Is there an API we can use for this?
