does anyone know if it is possible to get the number of source words of a ISegmentPair according to Studio word counting? Or for IParagraphUnit? Or even better, for a plain string? I have tried to use the ParagraphUnitProperties.SourceCount property but probably do not know what I'm doing because it refuses to work...

I would like to get the word counts for a single segment rather than a whole file. Furthermore I want it to be the same word count as the one reported by Studio.
After having read Paul Filkin's post on Studio word counts I realize it is next to impossible to do this without support from the API.
I see that there is a WordCounts class in the Translation Memory API and wonder if that can be used for this purpose? Is there any sample code available demonstrating its use?
is there anything new on this? I stumbled upon the same need.
