We are looking for instructions and best practices on how to create special user role types (e.g. superuser role) in Tridion Docs 13 Content Manager. For example, we would like to create a superuser role type that has less permissions than the Administrator role but more permissions than an Author role.
Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul,
There are things that only an Administrator can do. On Content Objects (like topics, maps, images,...) you can create user roles that give you the possibility to return back in your flow chart, or skip steps/statuses - see Content Manager Settings area on Status Transitions. So it depends on what you want to achieve.

Hello Dave,
We would like a user role (e.g. superuser) that can create new users, assign the new user to the list of already available groups and roles. The superuser should NOT be able to create new groups, new roles, create new system values, new output formats, create new status definitions, or change the status transitions.

Hello Dave,
We also want non-admin users to be able to see the Event Log tab in the Tridion web client. Is there a way to configure the Event Log to allow this?
