Why is it so difficult to find a post in the Community?

I find the Search feature of the Community lacking. I would like to see some logical way of sorting the results. This has been bothering me for a while, but as an example, I was trying to do a search for a topic Paul started yesterday about the Find & Replace feature and I can't find it! Instead, I'm getting hits from threads that are from months or years ago.

This is frustrating and confusing, please provide an easier way to search for content.

Hi Nora,

Thank you for your feedback.
There are different opinions about the search capability of our community.
Sometimes for me it also takes a bit longer. I've put an ER for the community team to look at this.

For now, have you tried 'Advanced Search' in the left bottom corner of the search box? (See image below)

And then use the filters on the next page:

Hopefully that makes it easier for you sometimes.

Thank you Lennert,

I did end up using the Advanced Options, but it would be nice to have the results more easily accessible, or at least have the Advanced Options link more prominently displayed near the search box, and at the very least I think the Most Recent filter should be enabled by default.
