Thanks so much for including this in 9.3 - it will be a massive time saver.

FYI, Committed to XPP 9.3

Moved away from the status window because it did not fit the model.

A "Copy Path" button will exist on the Show XML/SGML window as well as in the Line Editor (when in XML/SGML/XML-CSS modes)

It's especially useful on the "Tree view" because you see the document hierarchy and its a simple click and then paste elsewhere for each of the nodes you are interested in writing style for.

Also when in CSS mode, the path will be in CSS selector form, so you will get "doc>chap>section>title" which is the form you would use doing CSS development.

That will make a real difference and speed up style development enormously - thanks Steve.

I've been playing with the status. I can get the XPath and put a button on the status menu to copy the XPath to the clipboard.

The XPath is the value you see in the "Tag:' field, so it does not include any attributes. We don't show attributes  on the status window because there can be too much data.

Is this sufficient?
