Not Considering

We have reviewed this request and have changed this status to Not Considering for the following reasons:

Our strategy for styles is to continue enhancing the CSS capabilities.

Further, this capability is not technically feasible with XPP Classic. We were able to accomplish this with CSS because of it's inheritance capabilities.

The ability to access tag/item format attribute values from the post-string field

In XPP Classic, there's no method of accessing the values of an item format attribute from the poststring field. 

If I have the following item format that's designed to output a rule as part of the poststring, I cannot "see" ruleAfter or the value of "yes" directly.

[text ruleAfter="yes"]

I would like to be able to act on that attribute directly from the poststring.
