In the most recent release, WS 11.7, we now take a snapshot of the current file type settings, and only then update them, so there is a 1-level record of the previous settings. These can then be downloaded for comparison when such changes are made.

Audit trail as well as read only access for filters (FileTypes)

We had an issue some time ago when someone changed a filter on the production server which resulted in a leverage loss. We do not know who that was and why they made that change. We can't remove access rights to filters for all the users so we need the following functionality to be implemented in filter configurations (and possibly other areas such as workflow and user management):

-- version control -- who made a change, what was changed and when (audit trail)

-- read only access rights (see the settings but not be able to change it)
