Thank you for your suggestion to help us improve SDL TMS. We already allow editing of the task by downloading packages for SDL Trados Studio or the translator and reviewer have the opportunity to work online in the new cloud-based SDL Online Editor. Creating an Excel or Word document for download would not be difficult but trying to deal with all scenarios when uploading the same format file would be very complex because the editing environments for those formats are not translation-oriented and information could easily become corrupt.

Downloading tasks as bilingual excel or word

In order to increase the efficiency of the steps, tasks should be able to be downloaded as bilingual excel or word and then should be uploaded back in the same way.

    Thanks a lot for your comment. However, many instances of TMS is IP restricted due to corporations' IP requirements, which makes working with agencies and third parties difficult. In addition, this will decrease training time spent for teaching TMS to "non-translator" stakeholders. THanks! Best, Huseyin
