Idea Delivered

Hi Samuel,

This is already possible with server-based Termbases. There is a permission called "Edit without Input model", if a user does not have this permission she cannot edit without an input model.

Thanks,
Luis

MultiTerm Input Model

Would be ideal if there was an option to enforce an Input model.

Meaning that if one has been loaded, and activated; that the end use would not be able to select "(No input model)".

If this is possible, then the same should be reflected in the Trados Terminiology View, whilst in the Editor.

  • Hi Luis,

    Thanks for the reply.

    What about file-based termbases?

If I create a package, for a freelance translator, then the termbase will be included within the package.

I am unsure whether the same permission/settings are available for file-based termbases.

    Kind regards

    Samuel
