AutoCorrect: add the option to insert non-breaking spaces automatically for French punctuation (:, ;, !, ? and « »).

In French, non-breaking spaces should actually appear before the following punctuation marks: : ; ! ? But also after the opening quotation mark « and before the closing quotation mark ». It would be a great timesaver the AutoCorrect function could be adapted so that users can choose themselves if they want AutoCorrect to insert those non-breaking spaces automatically or not. At the moment, users need to insert the non-breaking spaces manually, which is very tedious if you have a text with a lot of punctuation marks that require those spaces.

  • I agree, BUT it would be important to let the user choose which punctuation signs we want to add a non-breaking space before. In Canadian French, we put such a space only with the colon (:) and French brackets («  »).

In European French, they also add one before the semicolon (;), the exclamation mark (!) and the question mark (?), which is NOT the case in Canada.
