Default path for return packages

Hi,

When one creates a return package, the default path that appears in the dialog box is often the path where the last project's return package was stored. Therefore, it is easy to send inadvertently the new return package to that wrong former destination... and to have to struggle to locate it in the hard drive or to have to recreate it. Depending on the HDD organization of each one, it can be time-consuming and irritating... And as everyone knows it, it always happens when you are rushed...

Would it be possible to have the dialog pointing automatically to the currect project folder or its parent folder, instead of the irrelevant last project folder?

That change could also be applied for the opening of a new package, by the way.

Thanks in advance

  • I agree. This has been a usability irritation for as long as I can remember. It doesn't make sense that when I create a return package, Studio by default uses the path where I last saved a return package (almost always different project) instead of the parent directory of the active project. Please fix!
