Creating and managing users in the SDL BeGlobal account

Root Cause:

As the Account Administrator for your SDL BeGlobal Account, you are responsible for setting up your Users and the configuration and administration of BeGlobal application settings. Once you receive access to BeGlobal, you should begin the process of setting up the Users of the application.
 
 
Resolution:
User Management is only enabled for users with Administrator role.

Log into https://enterprise.sdlbeglobal.com

  1. Click on Account > Manage Account.
  2. In the Manage Users tab, click on New.
  3. Fill out the fields:
  4. Required fields are: First Name, Last Name, Email, Time Zone, User Role.
  5. Click Save
Each role has a different set of permissions, which determine the functions and features of the application they have access to. Once set up, each user will receive an email with additional instructions on setting up their account and password. Users may also reset their own password at any time by using the Forgot My Password link on the SDL BeGlobal Online log-in page.
 
Reference:
BeGlobal login is unique by the email, therefore, each email address could only be associated with one user account.

The initialization email contains an activation link that is only valid for 24 hrs. If the link expires, the administrator will need to reset password by following steps 1-2 above. Reset Password button will resend a new activation email to the user.
