Detecting language please wait for.......
In our user group there are some voices claiming that our publishing load is causing some issues - in other words, some users claim they have to wait too long on publishing jobs to complete.
So, it would be great if the publishing logs in the web client could be exported to a file to get a sense of the publishing times and load.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Otherwise I might add it to Ideas.
Indeed. It cannot be exported from the web client
But, you can use ISHRemote to get to that information if necessary
First, you need New-IshSession$ishSession = New-IshSession -WsBaseUrl $wsBaseUrl -ishUserName $ishUserName -IshPassword $ishPassword ...and then you need the cmdlet Get-IshEventFor more information about that you can do Get-Help Get-IshEvent
I too see similar request and answers for your need
I hope it helps
Select all (Ctrl-A) allows you to copy some stuff from EventMonitor into an Excel table.
Digging deeper... Publishing has many dimensions: event types, the data size, the data complexity, standard or custom DITA-OT, and rendering to your final format (PDF, ZIP, etc). So two API tips come to mind
On the cmdlets have a look at the referenced recording and code samples on https://community.sdl.com/product-groups/sdl-tridion-dx/tridion-docs/b/weblog/posts/automating-on-sdl-tridion-docs-tds2019---business-process-examples
