Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but wanted to raise an issue we have with .aspx 301 redirects- they are not redirecting correctly post CMS migration.
We are having some issues with re-directs. When we make them for general pages they work for example http://www.gocompare.com/car-insurance/car witha 301 to http://www.gocompare.com/car-insurance/ works fine. However if there is a .aspx file extension this no longer works and the user gets a 404.
Does anyone know how these can be implemented?
e.g
This page - https://www.mirror.co.uk/money/get-cheap-car-insurance-quotes-5486199
Has this link on it http://www.gocompare.com/car-insurance/car.aspx?#kv5UAcLtQlTRwQ5w.97
Which should go to http://www.gocompare.com/car-insurance/
Please could you take a look into this? We were informed that all these links should have correctly redirected in the migration.
