sdedit.ini window sizing

XPP 9.3.1/Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.10 (Santiago)

Is there a way to change window width(sdedit.ini)? Have tried adding 200x300 in front of the +25
i.e. Geometry=200x300+25+0
################################################################
# Sizing/Display information of the window.
# X,Y location of the top left corner of Sdedit
Geometry=+25+0

  • Hi John,

    The width of the Sdedit window is "fixed"; it's essentially controlled by the size of the font(s) being used for the field labels and values (Font and TextFont settings in sdedit.ini file).

    The depth of the Sdedit window is controlled by the ScreenLines=# setting in the sdedit.ini file.

    So for Sdedit, the width/depth are not controlled (or affected) by the Geometry setting.

    That is why the description for the Geometry setting in the delivered sdedit.ini file only refers to setting the X/Y location of the top left corner of the Sdedit window.
