Hello. We are unable to get a single quote to render in a straight quote style. No matter how we input the single quote, it still renders in smart quote style. We have no problem with double quotes rendering as straight quotes - only single quotes. Also, I find it odd that when I view the single quote in Line Editor, it shows as a straight quote but in text mode for the same DIV it shows as a smart quote.Any thoughts on what we're doing wrong?

Your question got me thinking about what information shows up for the straight double quote and…
What is the character code when you right click on the character in the xyview? in the Line Editor?
Your question got me thinking about what information shows up for the straight double quote and that led me to my answer: I need to use ′ for a straight single quote.
I tried that and the output looks good so my problem is solved. I just needed a sounding board.
Thanks for your help!
I'm happy to see the Community Board working as it is designed and intended
