With the SDL Connectors Community page being newly released in July 2018, I thought it useful to post some information about our previous releases for the SDL Managed Translation for Salesforce.
Latest release can be downloaded for trial from the Salesforce AppExchange: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3A00000DqpbTUAR
Enhancement for user experience - automated project creationThe app was updated to support the use case where article authors did not want to create translation projects. The app requires a custom visualforce page to be created with a list of all source articles and a publish button. On executing the publish button, an automatic translation workflow is triggered based on pre-defined options setup at configuration, sending the article to translation through the app.
Update to support to SDL WorldserverThis released added the integration to SDL Worldserver. Users of the app can now configure their SDL Managed Translation for Salesforce app to connect to both SDL Managed Translation (SDL TMS) and SDL Worldserver. Functionality in the All Projects screen is different, providing a simplified table view of projects, their status and links to view scope and approve.
Enhancements and bug fixingThis version focused on bug fixes and stability updates following the original release of the app in 2016.
