We are pleased to announce the availability of this cumulative update that contains all fixes from previous releases and the following additional fixes:
CRQ-14261Symptoms:Jobs created through the Adobe Experience Manager connector in SDL Managed Translation intermittently fail.
Explanation:A stored procedure in the database schema was causing a deadlocik on the database due to a missing index.
Resolution:The index has been added to the database schema and the deadlock no longer occurs.
CRQ-14686Symptoms:Excel files created on a multi-lingual Excel configuration are failing to process in SDL TMS.
Explanation:The third party component that SDL TMS uses to process Excel files required an update.
Resolution:The third party component has been updated to the latest version.
CRQ-14858Symptoms:Jobs created with a large number of files are timing out during job creation.
Explanation:The file handling logic in SDL TMS was inefficient.
Resolution:File handling for large numbers of files in a job has been improved with an associated performance boost when creating a new job with a large number of files.
CRQ-15221Symptoms:The UpdateTM step in SDL TMS is failing to execute.
Explanation:A query that forms part of the TM update process was taking too long to execute and timing out the process.
Resolution:A new query has been created to retrieve the appropriate data in a faster manner.
CRQ-15241Symptoms:The SDL Tridion preview feature is timing out.
Explanation:SDL TMS was making an unnecessary request to SDL Language Cloud to synchronize the file content.
Resolution:If the task is not in SDL Language Cloud, the request to synchronize the file is no longer made.
CRQ-15583Symptoms:SDL BeGlobal returns a 405 error when SDL TMS requests translation from iMT.
Explanation:The name of the file being requested was being truncated in the request.
Resolution:The request to SDL BeGlobal now contains the full file name and the error does not occur.
CRQ-15643Symptoms:Searching for multi-vendor jobs throws an error in the SDL TMS user interface.
Explanation:As part of the vendor changes made in SDL TMS 12.4, this defect was accidentally introduced.
Resolution:Performing text searches for jobs in the SDL TMS user interface no longer generates an error for multi-vendor jobs.
CRQ-15673Symptoms:Language analysis is not vendor sensitive and one vendor can see the costs associated with another vendor on the same job.
Explanation:The logical check for whether a vendor should be able to see the costs on the job had a flaw which resulted in the job costs being visible.
Resolution:Only the vendor associated with the cost model for the job can now see the language analysis costs.
