Hi Team, Arabic and Dita are not compatible. In order to translate Dita files into Arabic, we first have to convert the file to FrameMaker. When converting to FrameMaker, we produce a separate file for each output requested. This results in the full guides being prep’d in FM, and when guides share content, that content will appear twice in the source, as opposed to once in Dita. Because of this, AR word counts are generally higher, while also having more repetitions. Because of the above scenario Client generally comes with question “ why the word counts for Arabic are higher than the other languages” .
