SDL WorldServer 11.2 is released!

It gives me a great deal of pleasure and pride to announce to you the General Availability of SDL WorldServer 11.2 (as of August 17, 2017). This version is the launch vehicle for SDL’s new Online Editor, as an integrated deployable component. It delivers a compelling online experience and rich functionality for translators and reviewers alike, with connections to WorldServer TMs for real-time leverage and update, TQA for quality metrics tracking and many other innovations such as Tracked Changed for an optimized review flow, proper placeholder representation in the Editor UI, and many others! This significant piece delivers on our strategic aims of converging our language processing technology, enabling cloud working and leading innovation in our industry.

In addition, SDL WorldServer 11.2 brings a number of other features and fixes:

  • Support for multiple segmentation rules (see here)
  • Continued enhancements to the Studio integration for an optimized supply-chain
  • Updated File Type support with the latest filters
  • Continued platform updates (Edge, Win2016)
  • A significant number of customer-reported defect fixes
  • Improved database diagnostic tools
