WS 11.1.1 CU5 General Availability

Hello everyone,

It is a pleasure to announce the availability of WS 11.1.1 CU5.

It contains fixes for the following issues:

CRQ-5027 If you are exporting a translation kit and certain tasks fail while the assets are being processed, the kit will still be exported and it will contain only the tasks that did not fail. You can find more information about the tasks that failed in the task history.
CRQ-5171 If the value of the session_timeout property in the general.properties file is 0, a clearer message is displayed in the WordldServer logs when users try to log in to a page on the Classic interface (ws-legacy). For more information about the session_timeout property, see the "Configuring optional settings in general.properties" topic in the online documentation.
CRQ-5564 An issue related to a custom automatic action based on the com.idiominc.ws.sdkcore.workflow.WSTaskStepHistoryImp class that did not work after upgrading to WorldServer 11.1.1 has been resolved.
CRQ-6105 To prevent the overuse of connections to the database, TM matches are now cached for the export process.
CRQ-6271 After you upgrade from a previous version, you can successfully add language resource templates on environments that contain custom file types and file type configurations.
CRQ-6342 The names of deprecated legacy filters have been modified in the database, so that the API calls made by certain customizations receive proper responses.
CRQ-8177 After you upgrade from WorldServer 10.x to WorldServer 11.1.1, you can export tasks that contain segments with QuickInsert tags retrieved from the translation memory.
CRQ-8272 The /projectTypes endpoint now exposes both sourceLocale and targetLocales (restricted locales) correctly when trying to create WorldServer projects directly from the API.
CRQ-8293 Action workflows that require waiting for project scope or for project group scope automatic actions to run now behave as expected. This fix applies only to new projects and to new or imported workflows. If you want to apply it to existing workflows, you need to change the current setting of the "Clean up segmentation data at task completion" check box (if it is selected, clear it; if it is cleared, select it), and then save your workflow. After you modify this setting, the fix is applied to all the new projects you create using this workflow.
WSXI-8918 You can now configure the System Monitor tool to report information about potential database locks. Thus, System Monitor can check data manipulation language (DML) statements in SQL (such as SELECT, UPDATE, or DELETE) for known table locks, recording the order in which locks are held in a JSON file. For more information about the settings you need to configure, see the "Collecting information about database locks" topic in the online documentation.

SDL will provide regular cumulative updates, so that customers can benefit from the latest improvements and prevent potential issues. You can find announcements about new updates here.

This cumulative update also contains the fixes delivered in the previous ones. You should install this CU on top of WorldServer 11.1.1. The details about how to install it and what was fixed are specified in the readme.txt file.

CU5 is available on the public FTP.
