I have some questions for you as the reasons for this issue could be multiple:

1- is this a new Worldserver installation and iwhat is the Worldserver version? 

2- Is this happening for a specific project/task or for all projects and tasks?

3- Is this happening on all browsers?

This is a new worldserver installation.

I only have one project so far.

unfortunately the provided information is not sufficient to determin the root cause of this behavior. Please submit a support case as described in this article:

If you are the owner of the Worldserver environment, the SDL Support team can try to help you if you submit a support case providing all the details (WorldServer version, log files and screenshots of the issue). If the issue is a result of a self-installation, we might need to refer you to the SDL Professional services team to review your installation procedure and configurations. If you are a translator who has been assigned to a project, I suggest you inform your client of the issue you are encountering.
