Does anyone have some advise on creating a customized report in WorldServer 126.96.36.1990?
SDL Support can only advise me to follow the JasperSoft YouTube videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9AxYMoLlnE&index=2&list=PL5NudtWaQ9l7HrtB7xZbSoUapuSR_1R5Q) but there are a username and a password required at some point in the process, when setting up the database. I don't know where to find them or if we're supposed to have them.
Any advise from the community would be helpful.
Thank you in advance.
Hi Carla, if you like to design complex, custom reports, you might want to check out Jaspersoft Studio (community.jaspersoft.com/.../jaspersoft-studio) which allows you to connect to your WorldServer DB, define custom queries for your worldserver database and create powerful reports based on the results. It is a little fiddly to set up (getting the jdbc:sqlserver driver running) but once it is set up and connected to your WorldServer and Jasperserver database it allows you to access&download the existing reports, which you can use as templates for whatever you want to achieve.
I'm afraid that superuser as username and password is not working. I'm getting the error message below:
Does anybody know why?
apologies for the late reply - seems I missed that you have updated the post.
It looks like your connection string is incorrect - you need to point it to the database where your worldserver DB is.
So the connection string should look e.g. like this:
