Does anybody know how to use the WorldServer Reporting?

Hi,

Does anyone have some advise on creating a customized report in WorldServer 11.1.1.490?

SDL Support can only advise me to follow the JasperSoft YouTube videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9AxYMoLlnE&index=2&list=PL5NudtWaQ9l7HrtB7xZbSoUapuSR_1R5Q) but there are a username and a password required at some point in the process, when setting up the database. I don't know where to find them or if we're supposed to have them.

Any advise from the community would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Carla

  • Hi Carla,

We’ve just been struggling with the same thing.

The default user and password for the Jasper Report Server are:

    superuser and superuser

In the end we ended up exporting a number of the built-in reports, each of which contained some of the elements we wanted in our final report. We exported these as CSV files, and a custom application is used to merge/prepare them so that we get a single report with all the info we want.

This isn’t ideal - I would prefer a custom Jasper report at a click, but it works and my boss is satisfied.
