I've noted a potential issue
I've set my working hours in the system (from 9 am to 6 pm).
However, when I enter a task day 1 at a later time (e.g. 8pm), the planner still adds the work starting day 1 so I have to change this manually each time.
For instance, I received a 4000 word project to translate the 10th at 8pm and delivery is planned the 13th. When I create my task (at 8pm), the workload planner automatically adds a workload for that same day and another one for the following. But it is past 6pm (my EOB time set in the system), so I have to go in the WP tab and manually postpone each task.
Have I done something wrong or is this not an active feature?
Hah, I was sure that already corrected this! Once I've got exactly same situation, and was sure that it is already fixed! Of course, when workload planner is automatically filled, only remaining day time should be take into account. Will be fixing this!
When do you expect the new release to be launched?
There is no planned date still. It was planned for this month, but already moved to December, as we're finding more thing to add/fix/improve. Maybe a week or two. During this period, if you find more issues, please write us, as we still have time to make more improvements
Thank for this update.
I see only a couple of things I came across:
- When I create a new job, I can have the software add the corresponding files in folders it creates (through the customized settings I set up). This is a really great feature! One thing would make it even greater: if this could be done automatically. I've set up all my settings but, for each new job created, I need to manually click on the Folder icon (in my new job "Files (on disk)" tab) for it actually create those folders.
Could this be automatized (to match the settings decided by the user)? It would save a lot of time and avoid omissions.
- I don't think there is anything you can do on this but I'll mention it anyway: there quite some latency within the software when clicking on tab/feature or else for it to actually appear. I see a "Please wait" pop-up.
If this is a known issue (not linked to my usage or my OS being 64 bits), is it fixable?
I'm aware I'm asking a lot but I figured, better safe than sorry.
