It's all in the title, could anyone please help me figure out how to find my ID and reset my password? the window that pop-ups and asks for my credentials doesn't offer any link to click for help resetting them. It's really urgent, I'd really appreciate any help here... Thank you!
My computer restarted for an update and for some reason I can't log into Baccs. I have urgent invoices to send. How can I find my ID and reset my password so that I can send everything by EOB?
I am stuck with this box that vanishes after 3 attempts.

Well, there are no means to restore password. It's Windows application, and password is stored only on your computer. You have to try to remember out which password you set for Admin user. Or maybe you renamed Admin user. If you didn't set any password, you can try to click Log in without entering anything in the Password field.

I just clicked on it? It must have saved it the first time I used it, but never asked me for it since. Is the ID an email address or some name? what on earth could it be...
I've downloaded everything on this link and tried running both exe files but I'm not sure what to do with them, it doesn't display any information. 4.0 says it can't find anything and 3.5 doesn't seem abnormal but doesn't show any information either... I really need to leave now, is there any detailed help page I could follow when I'm back, or any way I could contact you tomorrow or Monday morning about it?

Glad to share step by step fix :) Please follow and you will remove password. Since it's like a hack, I think it will be correct to remove this instruction in a few days. Please let us know if that helped!

Thanks a lot for your time! I followed what you did but for some reason I don't have an admin user, it says User or Poppy, and there was no password for either. I added one for each but still can't login... :/
Well, it's obvious that you have to enter Poppy and leave password blank to log in. Don't try to set password using this utility - this won't work, please erase it.
I recommend, after successful login,to rename Poppy back to Admin, and leave password empty. This will allow to launch BaccS without logon window.

I am having the same issue with Trados Business Manager 5.2.23.0 - I can not even start it - I am trying what you are suggesting here in this video, but in SqlCe40Toolbox.exe (or 35) - the first option "Add SQL Server Compact 4.0 Connection ..." is greyed out. If I try "Detect SQL Server Compact file version" and I select baccsdb.sdf from C:\Users\aboloveschi\Documents\SDL Trados Business Manager\database - the tool crashes.
I just installed TBM - so this is a fresh install and I did not setup a password for this Admin user, the only I am asked is the location where to install it and to accept the licensing agreement.
I tried to uninstall, delete the folder: C:\Users\aboloveschi\Documents\SDL Trados Business Manager - then install again. Same thing. I am asked for a login and the username field is pre-filled with "Admin"
I am on Windows 10 with .NET 4.8
POST EDIT: So I uninstalled and tried 5.2.22.0 - same behavior.
I then uninstalled and tried with 5.2.0.0 - this one did not ask me to login. I started it and didn't change anything - everything looks fine - the bottom task bar is showing: User:Admin - but again, I did not enter any password nor was I asked to. I then applied 5.2.23.0 on top of this and then it worked, 5.2.23.0 started without any login required.
If anyone reading this needs to try this approach, the older versions are available for download here:

It looks to me like a bug in 5.2.22 and 5.2.23 at least.

Starting from one of latest version, default password is not blank anymore. It is User@TBM, which was mentioned in changelog, as well as here:
As for Sql toolbox, the option is greyed out because you didn't install SQL Server Compact 4.0 on your machine:
