No, this option is not available. And fully agree with you that it could be added. At the moment not sure if it should be default behavior, or we need additional option in Settings for this. Your thoughts?

I have now discovered that it is possible in the Translation Job window, under Workload planner tab to delete the job manually from the workload planner. This is very helpful. An automatic option would be even better. Maybe under Settings->productivity settings, something like, remove jobs automatically from the workload planner when status is finished/sent? And maybe also an option to remove a job from the Workload planner directly in the Workload planner window?

Actually, you can also do it from workload planner window itself:
