Is is possible to customize the batch change options, for instance adding a new PO number to several jobs in the translation job list?
The idea would be to have the same function as to the existing parameters: "PO Number", "Apply", new "PO Number" to several jobs.
I see I have access to the tree but I'm not an expert and can't figure out how to do this.
Can anyone help?
And again, unfortunately, this is not customizable. And certainly it won't be implemented in nearest update. However, if you tell which fields you wish to include into this dialog, we can add them with a next update
Thank you for your answer.
At the time, I would need to be able to dd a PO number. The clients often sent several jobs in one given month and then send a single PO for all those jobs, hence the need to add the PO number "batch add" this reference.
Sorry, but PO number already exists! I didn't notice initially. As you see on screenshot, there is PO number in 'Hidden fields' section. Simply open batch change dialog, click on empty grey space and select Reset layout. Done, you have PO number there.
And small addition. Slightly improved UI in the batch change dialog:
Thanks a lot for double checking but I'm afraid I still do not see the PO feature in the Batch change function. Could it be available from certain tabs only (I've checked in both Client view and Translation jobs view)?
Just re-checked. Indeed, in version 4 there is no such option. Sorry for misleading. It was added in a first version 5 release.
OK, then I'm eagerly waiting for the release if this new version!
A "batch open" would also be great. To allow all jobs to open easily and make whatever changes are not available in this batch change feature. So far, we need to open the jobs one by one.
Well, for batch open, I'm not very curious about this.. Opening large number of tabs could be CPU-consuming. So, it should warn, for example, when user wants to open more than 5-10 tabs. And in general I personally can't remember when such function was needed in real work.. But will add it to a list for future consideration
