separate calendar entry for each job's deadline, separate from the current ‘Working on project xxx’ system (i.e. spread across multiple days)?

I've asked about this in the past, and can't remember what you decided in the end. Every now and again I return to have a look at the Scheduler module, but always leave again (without using it), as I really don't like how I can't tell the system to just show jobs I am working on on the deadline day, instead of on every single day leading up to it, stating ‘Working on project xxx’ on every single page. I find this really clutters up the view. Is there any way you could add an optional switch to change this?

And if not, maybe a separate calendar entry for each job's deadline, separate from the current ‘Working on project xxx’ system?
