I am using Baccs 4.14 via ProZ.
I have found how the restart the numbering at zero for the invoices but not for the expenses. The expenses of 2020 are following the numbering of 2019. Is-it possible to renumber from zero the expenses in this version so that I am also on the same page as my accountant ?

Just checked the logic. Well, no, numeration works straightly - max number is selected and then 1 added to this number. To solve this, we need to define a new logic and release an update. Maybe just implement new numbering sequence starting from a new year by default? DOn't want to add new option in settings for this.

OK I kind of understand your thinking although it is not logical to me that an expense in accounting year 2020 has a number which sequence follows the previous years. My accountant asks me to restart the numbering each year.
