Suddenly my version of BACCS 220.127.116.11. has become DEMO. I can't create new jobs and I see DEMO in the top bar.
If I'm not mistaken, my BaccS Desktop single user freelance licence, purchased in January 2019, should be valid until 2022 (I didn't buy it through ProZ).
Why did it suddenly become DEMO?
The only change I made in these last days was updating my company name in the settings, could this be the reason?
I just added "company name" and left the first and last names unchanged. I also tried to copy and paste again the licence code and to delete the company name field but DEMO version is still active.
Can you please help me?
I wasn't very lucky because I bought the license in January 2019 and after 3 months the software becames SDL and all the updates/direct support were missing.I hope to receive support even if my licence is not linked to SDL (by the way I am also a Studio user) and to be able to use Baacs again at least until the end of the licence validity because I am (was) very happy with it.

I've got your private message as well, but wasn't able to answer earlier. First of all, after switching from BaccS to SDL TBM all existing users got a license. You should have receive a new code to your email used for registering BaccS. Please check your account at SDL - license code should be there!
As for switching to DEMO mode, it depends on your Full name (if I remember correctly) and e-mail. There is a First name, Last name, Company name, and Full name. So, when you changed company name, full name could also change. Please check this. If nothing works, I can generate you a new license number with the same conditions.
Additionally, license has NO validity term. It works forever. 3 years meant a number if years to get updates.
Underlining, you now have full access to the most recent version (5.2.24), and I think next version (6) as well (not sure still, however).

You are right, I also changed the email in the settings! Now I've inserted the old one and Baacs is back to the “licensed mode”! Great!
Anyway, I’d like to update my e-mail because it is automatically indicated on the invoices. Is this possible? Otherwise I will write it somewhere in the invoice template.

You are right again, I received an email from SDL with an order number and activation code for BaccS Desktop 5 but I've never activated it and I simply used the license code you sent me when I bought the software.
Now I've tried to find the order in my SDL account but there is no trace of BaccS Desktop 5. And I know why, my SDL account is registered with an email that is different from the one I used to purchase and register Baccs, and on the latter I received the communication from SDL. (I guess, I've too many e-mail accounts )
I signed in in SDL account with this other e-mail and I found the order and the code but I don’t know how to activate it. The licensing procedure refers to SDL products activation wizard.
It would be great if I could:
- unify the two accounts (both under the name Valeria Mazza but with 2 different e-mails)
- activate the code, so I can access to the most recent version (I didn’t know about it, thanks for the information!)
