The SDL Trados Business Manager Lite version 5.3.0 (referred to as "Business Manager Lite") release addresses the following:
(BACCS-507) Settings - added an option to hide the e-invoice generation buttons in the invoice list.
(BACCS-527) Settings - added an option to disable the automatic notifications generated after creating a new project in Studio.
(BACCS-530) Synchronize customer lists with Studio - all customers created in Studio will be automatically added to the Business Manager database and vice-versa - all customers created in Business Manager will be automatically created in Studio and become available for selection when you create new projects.
(BACCS-489) Settings - added an optional Default analysis import method which allows the user to specify their preferred way of importing the analysis information for projects. This can be on a per-file basis or total per-language basis.
(BACCS-518) Added a new chart to the Charts window - Project aggregates. This allows the user to display aggregate information for projects when subprojects exist. Subprojects can be created by adding new user-created projects and linking them with a particular Studio project, but leaving it non-synced with that project. This would result in the user having multiple sub-projects for a single Studio project. This new report supports getting totals for these types of projects.
(BACCS-509) Customer list - added an Import from CSV button which allows the user to import customers from Excel. See the Importing customers from Excel documentation article.
(BACCS-508) Language list - fixed an issue with not being able to manually add new language pairs, and added the possibility to create languages during language pair creation.
(BACCS-521) Added new reference data list - Predefined sets of tasks, which allow the user to create user-defined lists of task with specified services, units, fuzzy types and quantities. Using these tasks any data set can be quickly inserted into any project to speed-up the population of the Project tasks table. See 'Adding projects tasks from predefined sets' section in the Project editing window documentation article.
(BACCS-538) Added a feature to create reference data on fly - See Introduction and configuration documentation article.
(BACCS-540) Fuzzy scheme list - added the possibility to view fuzzy scheme contents from within a list, using the Plus button, which can be found in the left side of each row.
(BACCS-544) Customer editing window - added E-mail field.
(BACCS-556) Customer editing window - added a Contacts table where the user can specify customer contacts
(BACCS-510) List of projects - added a 'Print list' button, which allows the user to export currently displayed projects.
(BACCS-541) List of projects - added the possibility to view project tasks and time tracker data without the need to open the project editing window. To do this, click the Plus button on the left of a row. When a list of projects is printed this data will also be included in the resulting report.
(BACCS-533) Recalculation of prices - When the fuzzy scheme changes in a project, the app offers to re-determine prices across all project tasks and time tracker entries.
(BACCS-533) Project tasks table - fuzzy types which exist in a selected fuzzy scheme will be highlighted with an orange colour.
(BACCS-520) Project editing window - added PO Number field (which was previously only available in the list of projects)
(BACCS-531) Project editing window - added a Re-determine prices button, which allows the user to automatically detect prices in selected rows. Examples of usage: after manual editing of prices you wish to reset them to default (from price-lists); after saving a project and editing default customer prices you wish to apply them to a project, while some pricing data is already entered in that project.
(BACCS-556) Project editing window - added Date delivered field.
(BACCS-523) Added Print button to the Invoice and Quote editing windows - it is now possible to print invoices and quotes from the editing window.
(BACCS-512) Invoice list - added conditional formatting for overdue invoices; these are now marked with a red colour.
(BACCS-512) Invoice list - added a button to quickly mark selected invoices as paid.
(BACCS-511) Payment reminders - it's now possible to create templates for regular and final payment reminders, view overdue invoices in the invoice list or through automated notifications upon Studio launch; you can create payment reminders and view the history of payment reminder per invoice. (BACCS-556) Customer contact name - Default invoice templates now include the customer contact name.
(BACCS-563) Enhanced quote feature - Added the possibility to import analysis reports to quotes (this button was available only in projects before).
(BACCS-520) Invoice designer - added Project field to the Invoice items table. This allows the user to access project data from an invoice item (for example, to access the PO number of a linked project).
(BACCS-516) Fixed an issue with deleting rows in editing forms for Fuzzy schemes, Invoices, Quotes and Projects.
(BACCS-517) Fixed issues with saving templates in the template designer.
(BACCS-536) Fixed occasions when the selected customer in the project list wasn't saved.
(BACCS-534) Fixed an issue with creating invoices based on multiple projects.
(BACCS-537) Fixed functionality of the 'Add a project(s) to invoice' button in the invoice editing window.
(BACCS-524) Fixed an issue with date and number formats. Now default windows language settings are used to display dates and numbers in the UI.
