Detecting language please wait for.......
When trying to iniciate SDL Trados Studio 2021, as error message appears: "Service 'Sdl.Desktop.Platform.Services.ITelemetryService' could not be started." Afterwards, the app closes. What can I do to fix it? Thank you very much in advance. I see there have been a few people with the same problem recently, but no clear solution has been offered, at least publicly.

I'm pretty sure this is what Sorin Perta did in the other thread as this often solves a number of odd issues. Many people just don't want to try it themselves... but it is pretty simple.

Hi Paul, I have tried the solution offered in gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge, mentioned by Laura, but it did not work eiher. The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WBEM\CIMOM\Autorecover MOFs does not exist. There is clearly a problem with the WMI, in Properties there is a message: Failed to connect to local computer because "WMI: Not found". There are aldeady more that three days that I cannot use the app, and it is a disaster. No one has contacted me nor offered any solution. What should I do now?

The issue was solved by following the steps from this article: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001361 and after we preformed a Studio repair/reset (https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001414).
