Cannot run Multiterm 2017 after the most recent update


Yesterday, I updated Multiterm 2017 and after the update, I cannot run Multiterm at all on my computer.  I have checked the event viewer and seemed this error has something to do with KERNELBASE.dll.  Is there anything that I should do? I have already tried the repair and re-install as suggested on SDL community, but this error remains.
