Yesterday, I updated Multiterm 2017 and after the update, I cannot run Multiterm at all on my computer. I have checked the event viewer and seemed this error has something to do with KERNELBASE.dll. Is there anything that I should do? I have already tried the repair and re-install as suggested on SDL community, but this error remains.

I solved this problem by manually downloading and installing the latest Studio update.

Studio was up-to-date, but it was solved after I seperately uninstall Multiterm widget and Multiterm 2017.
When uninstalling, first I uninstall Multiterm widget-Remove suite of prodcts and then, Multiterm 2017 remove suite of products. After that, I performed Multiterm 2017 full instllation and i put checkmark on Multiterm widget.
According to the supprt team, this problem was found when Multiterm 2017 and Multiterm widget were separately downloaded.
