After installing Multterm update...Studio 2019 would not open. So I uninstalled both Studio and Multiterm. While Studio is working (including termbase), I am unable to install Multiterm/Multiterm update. I get a message that a higher version already exists...which I cannot see anywhere.
In the Unistall programs list....I can see two Multiterm 2017/2019 Remove suite of products. When I try to Unistall them...it shows me the screen without any components....so I have to cancel the uninstall!
How do I first uninstall the two remnants above...and then install the latest Multiterm.
You should have these versions installed now:
SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 220.127.116.111
SDL MultiTerm 2019 - 18.104.22.168053
If you have and you still get that message I'd try uninstalling all the Studio and MultiTerm installs you have to have a clean start, and then install just the 2019 releases again. If that doesn't work then log a case and the support team will resolve this for you.
Thanks so much. Indeed, I did/tried doing what you suggested. Finally, I had to log a case and got very prompt and excellent help. My Studio 2019 SR-2 and MultiTerm are back in order. However, I am not daring to install the MultiTerm update....as that was what caused, er, my downfall! Many thanks for your excellent support.
