After installing the latest version of Community Advanced Display Filter for Studio 2019, several errors happen when trying to open files from a project in Studio. The files do not open in the Editor even after reinstalling Studio.
There are several error messages including :
The requested service is not available: Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.ProjectManagement.IFilesViewService
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Is there a workaround for this issue ?
Have you uninstalled ALL previous version of the Advanced Display Filter? If not, you need to remove/rename the folder C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins and then run a repair installation of Studio. This should help. If not, remove the settings files from the same path, but located in the subfolder 126.96.36.199
Then you need to reinstall all plugins (please remember to use the latest versions of all plugins)
The workaround works, thank you!
Still, I installed the latest version of the plugin on Studio SR2, and several SDL colleagues encounter the same issue.
So there may be some maintenance to apply on the installer.
Anyway, thanks for your quick response.
