I have just installed SDL TMBackup plugin and I have problem opening. Here is the screenshot of the error message:
Thank you for your help.
All the best,
Hello Milica Dragićević,
Can you please tell me if the folder TMBackup is created under your path C:\Users\Milica\AppData\Roaming\SDL Community?
Thank you for your reply. No, the TMBackup folder is not created and I don't have the SDL Community folder neither. I only have SDL folder (C:\Users\Milica\AppData\Roaming\SDL). In this SDL folder, I have the following subfolders: Passolo Translator 2016, ProjectApi, SDL MultiTerm, SDL Trados Studio and Spellchecker.
Hi Milica Dragićević
Thanks for letting me know. Can you also tell me on which Studio version you get this problem?
I will log the issue and as soon as possibile, come with a fix.
Thank you. I have Studio 2019 SR2 18.104.22.1681.
Hi Florentina. I have exactly the same problem as Milica, no such folder created either after installing the plug-in and getting the same error message. Looking forward to a solution. Thanks!
I am experiencing the same issue with TMBackup plugin. Did you receive any fix from the developer? The studio version is 2019 SR2- 15.2.01041.No Roaming folder created in AppData location.
Hi Rajan Chopra ,
Did you try to test the plugin with the lastest version of Studio 2019?
I will ask Steven Whale to reproduce the problem on his side, if is still reproducible, the issue will be logged and fixed based on developers availability.
With kind regards,
Hello Rajan Chopra ,
I have tried to replicate the issue without success.
When installing the app- the folder is created as expected on my machine
And I can run the app without any issues-
Please check the following locations and remove any references to the application
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\
c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\
c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\
Now update Studio to the latest stand (22.214.171.1245) and then download the correct version from the SDL AppStore
Are you still having issues, or has updating Studio resolved the problem?
