I have just purchased an annual subscription to Deepl. After entering the Deepl key, I get this error message from Studio:
Could not load file or assembly 'Newtonsoft.Json, Version=188.8.131.52, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=30ad4fe6b2a6aeed' or one of its dependencies
How can I get Deepl to work with Studio?
Thanks in advance for your help.
This is almost certainly down to you not having an up to date version of Studio and/or the plugin. You should have:
SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 184.108.40.2063
Also make sure you have the latest plugin... but my money is on your Studio update.
Thanks very much for your speedy answer.
I went to my SDL account yesterday and installed the lates release, which is shown as SR2 - 220.127.116.111 and not the one you mention. I have in the meantime located the latest release and Deepl is now running. Thanks.
My next question is: should I assume that only the first version of a service release will be in my account for download (in this case dated 1 August)?
Many thanks also for a great Q&A on Thursday. You really are the backbone of SDL.

This is because the CU's (cumulative updates) are an automatic update to the product after you run it. You probably have the notification of the update being available in your notifications window (small orange bell in the top right). If not go to Help -> Check for updates.

Thank you... really glad you enjoyed it. I did too!
Thank you Paul, I had the same problem and now it works!
