We are currently experiencing the following problem. A "Forbidden" error message pops up every time we want to run the "pre-translate" function. The rest of the project creating is working smoothly. However, this error message doesn't allow us to work with DeepL and finally Post Editing tasks remain impossible to do.
DeepL reported back to us that this error message does not come from their end.
If it helps: we use the lates Trados Studio version.
THANK YOU so much for your support.
Hello Susanne Steinegger ,
I suspect this might be due to a firewall issue.
Please refer to this Wiki article and the two domains that should be whitelisted-
Also this previous thread might help-
Please let us know if this resolved the problem.
Just to add to what Steve has suggested can you elaborate on these for me?
Just looking for any additional information you might have to help us identify what could be causing a problem like this.
Dear Paul, dear StevenThe API-Key is always present and correct. This problem occured about a week ago when one of our team started working from home. BUT our colleagues in the office have the same problem. They will also get this Forbidden message while creating a pretranslation and we have not performed any other setting or whatsoever.
Can you show me this problem in action? Drop me an email and we can use skype or team viewer to look at this together.
Sure, let's do this. Whats your email adress?
Just closing this one off because it looks as though the issue is related to user profiles where the stored API key for the user is not accessible by Studio when accessing it through remote desktop.
