Error message during update to SDL Trados Studio 2019

Question

I have purchased an upgrade from SDL Trados Studio 2015 Freelance to SDL Trados Studio Freelance 2019. 
 During the upgrade, t he following error message appears when I am trying to install SDL Trados Studio 2019: Setup detected a higher version of this product already installed. If you still wish to install this version, you must remove the other version first. 
 I had a trial version of SDL Trados Studio Profressional 2019 installed but it was uninstalled before running the upgrade. 
 I have also followed the resolution in https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000008215 but the problem persists. 
 Can you please help to solve this issue?

 You can resolve this problem by contacting SDL's free licensing and installation help service, here: 
 installation and licensing help 
 Fill in the form, giving details of the problem and what you've tried already. Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown and, most importantly, give your correct email address so that they can contact you.
