You recommend to remove previous versions before installing the latest version, right? But I remember that some years ago Trados wouldn&rsquo;t find the files any more after I had moved them to a different folder. Since then I only save my projects at the standard (default) &ldquo;Studio&hellip;&rdquo;-folder and don&rsquo;t move them any longer. 
 For example, I also still have my old 2014 version on my computer even though I don&rsquo;t use it any longer. But if I unstall it, all the project folders and TMs &hellip; in the folder &ldquo;Studio 2014&rdquo; get lost, don&rsquo;t they? Or can I move them just to any other folder? How will &ldquo;Studio 2021&rdquo; then be able to open/use them?

 We recommend uninstalling previous versions to get better performance of your PC, but it's not mandatory. Also, removing Studio will not remove the files you saved within your folders, it only deletes the installing files of the software. So you can rest assured that removing Studio 2014 from your PC will not remove your saved work, such as TMs, etc 
 To open these in the new Studio version, you'll need to point Studio to the right location, where they are and Studio will remember next time.
