Hi,
I have created a Trados Live project, worked in Studio (SDL Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 16.1.3.4096), and then downloaded it on another computer. I was horrified to realize 30 minutes before the project was due that it hadn't uploaded the changes made, so the target file that I downloaded was not updated.
Is that how it is supposed to work (if you have a cloud-based project you can work in Studio on one computer only) or have I done something wrong?

I think we need more information as to what may have happened.
When you create a project in the cloud, you can download this to any PC where you have Studio 2021 installed , but not to two PC's simultaneously.
Although you have the PLUS license, which enable you to work on two non domain connected PC's you will need to logout from one machine, before logging back in to Trados Live with the second machine.
The changes made to the file (either in Trados Live or locally should then be updated.

I have created a project in the cloud, downloaded it in Studio on my PC A, logged out, opened my laptop B, opened the cloud project in Studio and the situation is the following: on laptop B if I make changes in Studio these are not synchronized, if I edit the text with Trados Live and then open the project in Studio I am asked if I wand to synchronize the changes and it works fine.
So, in sum, it seems to be working one-way only.
