Since this morning languagecloud has being down for maintenance. So I can not use my Traods 2021. But I have two big jobs that need to use Trados. So I want to know whether this maintenance is sudden happened or planned since before.

It was planned and all users were notified in Language Cloud and also in the KB:
But by now you should just see something like this when you login:
Hi Paul,
My login is not working. There is a message about Internet connectivity. Similarly, there is a message about Language Cloud being disabled. Good part is that Studio 2019 is working and I am able to continue my work. Thank you, Trados! Good job!
Going through these pages, I saw suggestion about removing LanguageCloudbin or some such hidden file. It says remove it from folder 16. I only have folder 15 (Studio 2019!) and there is no such hidden file.
I am unable to get support from Language Cloud.
Any solution or how to get support (er without paying fees!)?
Good to be in touch with you again.
Best wishes.

Of course, the same as it always is. Please create a new thread and we can convert it into a case for the support team. The system is automated and will only work for the original thread poster, so if you tack onto the end of someone else's thread we can't do this.
Thank you so much, Paul. Will do as instructed. (Hope I don't goof up.)

I'd also just comment on this. I think you upgrade to all the new releases anyway, so why not take a support contract? If you do this the upgrades are included. So in the long term you have peace of mind because you can always get technical help when you need it directly with a support engineer, AND you have spread the cost of the upgrade you purchase anyway over a couple of years. I think this makes sense for any professional translator who intends to keep using the software year on year.
