I am using reporting analysis and would like to export it to an Excel file.
It says in the documentation center here (https://docs.sdl.com/LiveContent/content/fr-FR/SDL%20Trados%20Studio%20Help-v5/#url=/LiveContent/web/search.xql%3Fc%3Dt%26pub%3DSDL+Trados+Studio+Help-v5%26lang%3Dfr-FR%26action%3Dsearch%26query%3Dexporter%2Bun%2Brapport&sid=lcSearch.runSearch¤tQuery=exporter%2Bun%2Brapport¤tScope=&eventType=lcContent.loadDocGUID-BBD54BB1-88C4-47AA-ACDF-8165E96CB0BB&query=&scope=&filename=GUID-BBD54BB1-88C4-47AA-ACDF-8165E96CB0BB.xml&docid=GUID-BBD54BB1-88C4-47AA-ACDF-8165E96CB0BB&inner_id=&tid=&addHistory=true&resource=&toc=false) that the xls format should be proposed among others.
The 3 other possible formats are proposed to me but not the xls one when I try to do "save as".
I don't understand what I should do then.
Thanks in advance for your help,
I believe that Excel output format is available only if you actually have Excel installed.
Of course ! Needless to say that the latest version of Excel is up and running on my computer, but thanks...
Could be that the latest version is the problem. Only SDL developers know how exactly Studio interacts with Excel...
Hi Johanne Dupuy
Can you share a screenshot of what you see? Like this:
After clicking on your link I also tried it with a FR UI:
FWIW, I have also seen the Excel file type missing in the past... i.e. a few years back, so the Office 2019 version was definitely not the cause.
BUT... could it be due to a 64-bit Office being installed?!
Well, believe it or not, today it works (I haven't done anything special appart from restarting my computer and obviously Studio since the other day...).
Thanks for your kind help anyways,
