I transferred the license to another computer and was able to use the license with my new device. A few months later, I am no longer able to use the Trados. By opening a file via Trados, it requires me to activate the license. What I have done. I received this message below. How can you help me? Please note that the license works on my old device.
It looks as though you have simply activated this licence more times than you are allowed. You need to deactivate a licence if you wish to use it on another computer.
You didn't tell us, but I'm guessing this is Studio 2015? You can reset the licence yourself by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account. Use this KB article ( gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge ) and follow the instructions.
