I get this strange message error with an Excel file containing coloured text (I'm using the bilingual Excel filetype)
Is this actually related to the text colour?
STEFANO DE ASTIS
I presume you tried removing the red to see?
Yes, now I've tried to change all text to black and the error has disappeared.
This does solve my problem, because reapplying colour to each part of target text would be too long
That is very strange.
Great... I'll try to repro at some point because we should fix it if the problem isn't specific to something weird with your file.
ok - it's not a simple bug:
This is a very simple test of course, but looks like I'd need your file or some guidance on how to deal with this.
It is a quite complicated file and I cannot post it, can I send you the file privately?
I've just sent you the file.
I get no error using the the same file with the standard Excel filetype, just with Bilingual Excel.
Thanks STEFANO DE ASTIS
What version of Studio are you using? I don't have a problem with your file either!
This is my Trados version
These are the settings of Bilingual Excel in my project
I've disabled the other Excel filetypes, so this file is processed by Bilingual Excel, when I try with the standard excel filetype I get no error, but in this case I need Bilingual Excel
Very strange. I have the same version as you, the same settings as you, the same file as you... and I have no problems.
I get the same error even if I just use Preview, I'll try at the office with Trados 2019 Professional.
I get the same error here at the office on a completely different PC with Trados 2019 Professional.
